Hey there!
I’ve accidentally created a Halloween tradition for myself. 2022, I was in Toronto to moderate an event and decided to check out The Village, home to that city’s LGBTQ+ community. I spent Halloween weekend enjoying the drag show and dancing. This last Halloween weekend, I was in my city (Calgary, Alberta), and at the last minute, I decided I wanted to go out. There’s only one place in this city that meets my desired level of fabulous: Twisted Element, nightclub and Queerhall. So, for the second year in a row, I was entertained by drag queens and then danced the night away surrounded by people twenty years younger than I am. I’m about to turn 41. No one knew that, though.
