Happy Golden Globe Awards Day!
I’m a Hollywood awards show junkie! Typically, I spend all day watching red carpet coverage. Flipping back and forth between multiple channels. But since C*vid, award shows have changed. No more traditional red carpets. Oh well, I still have all of my snacks prepared, jumbo shrimp ring included.
This weekend, my brother Evan and I recorded ten more episodes of his podcast, Accidental Parenthood. I produce and appear on the podcast, so it is also my podcast, but we are talking about his unexpected dad experiences.
We recorded for six hours straight, nearly passing out by the end for not eating. We were laughing our asses off at nothing as the sun went down. And then I discovered that the sound was echoey, despite using a professional podcast mic. More laughter as we realized we sound like the podcast happening in a giant bathroom. Oh well, the content is excellent, so we’ll move back to my closet next time. If I waited for everything to be perfect, I wouldn’t be doing anything I’m doing now!
The award show is going to start in 40 minutes so I’ll keep this newsletter brief!
Share your childfree story!
I am so excited to host my first solo Zoom event for childfree people who want to share their journey! I’m opening this up to you as a thank-you for subscribing to my newsletter. The event is free! Even if you are not ready to speak about your childfree journey, you can still attend to listen to other people’s stories.
Email me if you’d like to get on the list!

New podcast episode
Episode 8 of Accidental Parenthood is out now on Spotify, Apple Podcast, and several other podcast apps. In this episode, Evan shares his reaction to finding out he is having another kid. We also talk about how working with kids can inspire a person to not have them.
Childfree pick-of-the-week
From 2013-Kristen Tsetsi, one of my Childfree Girls co-hosts, made a TV appearance talking about living childfree. Note the caption they give her: CHILDLESS FOREVER.
LOL
Final thoughts
I look forward to the day when the childfree choice is represented positively and frequently in movies and television!
Have a fabulous week!
Until next time,
