Heya!
What would it take to convince you to share your childfree story with someone else? Why would you even want to? After all, it’s nobody’s business, right?
Imagine this: sharing your story ends up helping someone else find peace with remaining childfree. Your words offer hope to someone worried about having to become a parent.
This last week, I’ve listened to others share pieces of their childfree journey. On a whim, I started holding morning chat sessions on the Clubhouse app. A space where other childfree people from around the world could gather and share via audio chat. The first morning was so lovely that I did it again the next day. By day number three, I was convinced to make this a regular thing during the week. Everyone who shared got more confident and clear in their messages. We all shared a little bit more each day.
Sometimes you need to speak out loud the thoughts in your head. The more you do it, the more clarity it brings you. Whether it’s writing a blog post, sharing your thoughts in a social media caption, or recording a podcast, sharing your childfree journey is powerful.
There is space for everyone to share!

Join me every weekday morning at 7 AM Pacific time / 10 AM Eastern Time for Childfree Morning Chat. It doesn’t matter if you are not a morning person. I’m so not a morning person, but it’s worth getting up to chat with my fellow childfree peeps!
Final thoughts
I’ve always been chatty, and I know how it feels to be told to “be quiet.” Growing up, I was taught not to ask questions and that I needed to “forsake my free will” and be a good “sheep.” For the most part, I didn’t follow any of that. Even as a little girl, I felt compelled to stand up for people who were being wronged.
This last week has taught me that while I love sharing my personal stories, I get great pleasure from creating safe spaces where other people can speak up about being childfree. While it is my purpose to express myself, it’s also my purpose to help others express themselves.
I wish you a lovely week of self-expression!
Until next time,
LeNora Faye
What’s Your Childfree Story?
I am currently finishing my first Substack personal essay on not wanting children, and am so happy to have stumbled upon this group! It’s a bit satirical, and I’m sure will offend some of the entitled stroller-moms. After years of people telling me I’d “change my mind,” and asking incredibly invasive questions, I am having fun with this topic! Nice to meet some like-minded women. :)
